Open Day, 7 October: See the Big Oak for yourself
Join us at Alpenferienpark Reisach for an afternoon dedicated to glamping. Walk through our Big Oak tent, meet the team, and hear directly from the campsite owner about his journey into glamping.
Programme
- 2:00 PM — Welcome & arrival
- 2:30 PM — Guided tour of the Big Oak tent
- 3:30 PM — Talk by the campsite owner: “Why I started with glamping”
- 5:00 PM — Closing BBQ — meet Thijs Jan and the De Waard team informally

Meet us at Caravan Salon Austria and Camping Summit
From 14–18 October 2026, Caravan Salon Austria and Camping Summit in Wels once again brings together everyone with a passion for camping and caravanning — from first-time visitors to seasoned professionals. It’s Austria’s largest event of its kind, and we’ll be there.
We won’t have a tent on site this year, but you’ll find our stand ready to answer all your questions about glamping — from choosing the right tent model to what it takes to get started as a campsite owner. Thijs Jan will be at the stand throughout the show, so drop by any time.

Wind Gusts Exceeding 160 km/h, Yet the Big Oak Remained Standing
Recently, Cloud Nine Campground was hit by a severe storm, with wind gusts exceeding 160 kilometres per hour. Pine trees snapped and fell, leading to an anxious night for the Cloud Nine Campground team. Their main concern: would the glamping tents remain standing?
